Oarsman Boats are fine builders of Adirondack Guide Boats. The Adirondack Guide Boat is truly a versatile boat, passing the test of time. Since the Mid 1800's they have been used for a variety of uses. Originally used as a work boat serving the needs of the Adirondack Guide; the boats were used for sporting activities, as well as moving goods and people swiftly through the succession of lakes, rivers and streams of the Adirondack Mountains of New York State. Today they are used for family activities, recreational rowing, hunting, fishing, fitness rowing, racing and of course that picnic with ones best girl or guy.
